I’ve long had a passion for technology, working on my own or with creative teams to bring ideas to form. Advanced technologies continue to get invented to facilitate and support creativity and I’m the go-to guy to test pilot raw products or execute with creatives of the highest order.

PIXELWORKS

Over the past four years, as a Post Production Supervisor at Pixelworks, I’ve helped develop cutting-edge technology to produce feature films without motion artifacts introduced in the standard course of 24fps production—using proprietary AI, I was responsible for analyzing film and executing de-jutter techniques prior to release (or re-release). Among the feature films are some of the highest grossing movies of all time. (See Below)

  • On top of de-juddering films, I also improved scalability and performance of pixelworks’ processes.

  • I’ve been exploring AI filmmaking as a new layer of storytelling — not to replace the creative process, but to expand it. I’m interested in how these tools can reshape pre-production, editing, and world-building, opening up faster workflows and stranger, bolder ideas.

  • Designed a variety of objets, from little toy octopuses, to chainmail, to electric guitars, to life sized robot that speak and interact with people.

My degree is in film production, but my speciality is in editing and as a post supervisor. I’ve worked on a number of short films, but today most of my projects involve post production for the media channels of Gray (@graysworld), on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok.

AI feels like the newest frontier in storytelling, and I’m fascinated by the ways it can stretch the boundaries of filmmaking. I’ve been exploring how AI can speed up pre-production, visualize ideas that once lived only in imagination, and open the door to concepts that wouldn’t be possible on a traditional budget. Along the way, I earned a certificate from Curious Refuge, a leader in AI filmmaking, which gave me deeper insight into how these tools are already reshaping the industry. For someone who loves both creativity and technology, it feels like a space where anything is possible.

3d Modeling

I produced a range of unusual 3D objects, culminating in my creation of a fully functional electric guitar through modeling and 3D printing (and some interesting assembly).

Our Future

I helped my childhood friend, Michael Sikand, with the early production on Our Future and nudged him toward experimenting with short-form content. What started as a side project quickly grew into a media brand with millions of views, and in 2022 Our Future was acquired by Morning Brew.
